We put our tree up the day after Thanksgiving... Evie did the decorations.. mostly.. we tried to rearrange them a bit and get the spots that she couldn't reach, but for the most part.. what you see is Evie's doing! (Except for the lights and garland)

Sisterly and Brotherly Love

Tonight Evie introduced Evan to her "Butterscotch Pony".. his batteries have been dead since Evan was born.. Daddy fixed him last night and the pony seemed interested in Evan.. looking and neighing in his direction at all times. LOL.. I swear, that thing is too real! So Evie let Evan take a ride with her..




And usually Evie takes her bath at the same time as Evan but she already had hers tonight while he was napping, so she was available to give him his bath tonight. She did a wonderful job! You can tell he was happy to have sister help!

Also.. isn't he just growing up so much? I just looked at his first bath pictures this morning! How different he looks! Such a little handsome man!

And yesterday, Evie HAD to have this Christmas Ariel that spins and plays Christmas music.. she has played with it nonstop.. (so tired of it already) It was only $9.99 at Walmart, though.. and she loves it. She is very much in the Christmas spirit already.. today we took her to the Christmas Shop at Lincon Square Mall.. and a "helper" went with her to choose gifts for Mommy, Daddy and Evan.. she even gift wrapped them and wrote our names on them while she was back there picking out gifts. It was really sweet! Can't wait to see what she chose for us!

Christmas and school photos

Hi ya! Well.. I got Evie's school pictures back.. they turned out pretty cute!
Her first school pictures.. gosh.. it seems like yesterday we were welcoming her at the hospital. *sigh* Anyway.. here's my pre-schooler.




ANd My cuties had their Christmas picture done today.. AWWWWWWW!!! They both look so wonderful! Evie looks so poud and beautiful and Evan looks so handsome and just yummy! I could eat him all up!

Santa!

Santa is once again here to see the kids at the mall!
We went today to get pictures taken of the kiddos at Portrait Innovations.. and we had to run in the mall to exchange Evan's pants for his outfit and low and behold.. there was Santa!! I didn't have my camera with me but I had the trusty camera phone which came in handy since the kids were in their dress clothes!

Can I just tell you that kids clothes are sized so oddly! If you were to ask what size Evan wears, I couldn't honestly tell you! Today.. his outfit consisted of the following: socks-0-3 mos. dress slacks-0-3 mos. dress shirt-3-6 mos. and sweater vest-6-9 mos Evie is wearing a size 6X or 7 now! geez! Anyway.. I was good and only chose one pose from the photo session which I'll post later when I get the pics!

Today my boy was sucking his thumb hardcore.. and doing plenty of crying.. he is trying to cut teeth.. just not sure which ones.. I feel so bad for him.. he's napping right now, but I managed to get a few shots of his new thumb-sucking pose.. so sweet!
