Oh Brother!

So.. a few days ago.. after I put the new "rainforest sounds" in Evan's crib, I go in the room to vacuum and out of the corner of my eye I see Evie IN the crib playing with it. I had to take a picture.. she knows that she's not allowed in his crib.. but she can't resist... Today, I put a new mobile on the other side of the crib, later I go looking for Evie and I find her laying in the crib again, this time with a pacifier in her mouth and looking up longingly at the little bears.. she looked as if she could be falling asleep, so I quietly got the camera out but once I took the closeup picture, she was ready to get out. I should have let her fall asleep first.. that would have been a funny picture! (Not to mention I could have napped)

She's getting pretty excited about the baby coming.. My sister sent a package of things that she bought and made for Evan, and she wrapped the diapers individually in ribbons, so Evie wanted to take all of the ribbons off and straighten and stack the diapers by herself. She said that she needed a big sister job to do.. I was more than happy to let her do it! And she did a great job!

I don't think it's gonna be too much longer.. in the past couple of days I have been feeling pretty miserable.. the movement in my belly has gotten very low and painful.. last night Joe and I went out for dinner and I thought I was going to pass out at the table.. got pale, had contractions every half hour for a few hours... then they subsided. This morning, after Joe left for work, I spent the morning on the toilet.. (too much info, I know), but again, I'm not feeling so well.. I don't think I'm getting sick, I think my body is getting prepared. Who knows... a mother's intuition is usually the right one.. (Joe always says that to me :o) )
Lots of lower back and abdomen contractions.. although they always go away. (Just had one) Anyway.. Evie is playing in the house right now with Evan things.. pacifiers, plastic keys... didn't know those things were so much fun for 4 uear olds LOL I still have to wash everything anyway.. so I figure.. play with them now, Evie.. you're not doing it after Evan gets here! LOL
