What a lovely day! Sunny, high of 89 degrees and a light breeze. We spent the morning and early afternoon at the pool. There was a swim meet in the morning so the main pool wasn't open until about 1 o clock, but we spent time in the lazy river and slides and had lunch. Then we played in the main pool until about 2 o'clock. Evan ALWAYS falls asleep at the pool.. and he sleeps for a good hour or more.. Daddy played with Evie in the water for a bit until she found some friends to play with and then he and I got some sun in the chairs while Evan slept in his stroller.
Then Evie got a little sun while having a snack..

Then, on the way home, I thought Evan looked cute with his messy hair, no shirt on and his feet crossed. He was refreshed from his nap and in a silly mood as well.
Tonight, the four of us went to El Toro II for dinner so that we could sit outside in their patio area. What a beautiful night!!!

Days like that are what summer is meant for! I am glad that you got to enjoy the day and your family- how wonderful!
Hey, we were there at the pool for the swim meet! I went back later in the day (5ish)with the kids. Sorry we missed you.
