My Tiny Tiger

Evie is doing fantastic in her "Tiny Tigers" class at Newberry's Blackbelt Academy.
She has mastered many positions and can "answer up" like the best of them.. with her "YES I CAN!" And "Yes Maam!" all of the time. She's even taken to saying, "Yes Maam" to me at home. If I tell her to do something, even if she doesn't want to, she says, "Yes Maam" and does it the first time... (in most instances). I can't tell you what this has done for her attitude, self esteem and has taught her alot about stranger dangers. She's learned how to handle situations like when a stranger comes up and tries to "trick" her by offering gifts or saying that they are a friend of her parents, by saying "Sorry, I have to ask my Mom and Dad" and running away. Or if we are somewhere and she doesn't see me, (like the pool), she knows to go to a lifeguard or someone in charge who works where she is.
